Wandering tattoo artist

From China to Malaysia In 2015, Da Fei first encountered tattooing. From that moment, he chose a path of constant movement. Over the years, he began in China—traveling, creating, and refining his craft across different countries and cultures. He won First Prize (Rookie Group) at the Langfang International Tattoo Expo, received awards at the Nanning Tattoo Show (Best Traditional—2nd Prize; Best Black & Grey—Rookie 1st Prize), and has been invited multiple times to serve as a judge at international tattoo conventions. 2019 — Philippines 2021 — Dubai 2023 — Cambodia 2025 — Malaysia … She is not only responsible for daily operations, but also serves as one of the store managers, coordinating space management and overall workflows. This role is not on the front stage, yet it allows tattooing and barbering to run smoothly; not directly part of the creation, yet it gives artists the quiet focus they need. To her, administration is not just ‘management’— it’s the process of caring properly for both people and the work. Here, before every change begins, she has already prepared everything.

Investors & Support

“Name” is not a practitioner in tattooing or barbering, and is rarely seen in the studio’s day-to-day operations. But precisely because he stands outside the act of creation, he chose a different way to participate—supporting those willing to invest time and effort, and helping provide a space that can develop long-term. When asked why he chose to build in Malaysia, his answer is simple. Malaysia gives him a rare sense of confidence. The environment, pace, and culture here give creators the time to accumulate and experiment. He also believes the first year matters—because it determines whether something truly begins. But he is equally clear: the real test isn’t only the first year. The second and third years—and even the fifth and sixth—matter just as much.

Tattoo Artist • Wei Qi

Finding authentic weight in realism

Wei Qi began learning tattooing in 2018. In his earliest training, he focused on Western realism. Through repeated practice, he developed a steady judgment for structure, light and shadow, and proportion. Over the years, he has refined his craft through live work and competitions. To him, realism isn’t only about “looking alike”—it’s about the true weight of different materials on skin. The softness of hair, the delicacy of skin, the coolness of metal, and the restrained transitions between color and grayscale are directions he continues to study. With consistent creation, his work has gained recognition at multiple conventions. 2024 Kunming Musink — Best of Live Session, Overall Champion 2024 INK Not Necessary — Western Small Piece Champion, Best Ornament Runner-up 2024 Yiwu Oriental Tattoo Expo — Live Session Runner-up (Two Days) 2024 Beijing Porcelain Expo — Live Session Third Place (Three Days) …

Operations & studio management

When she first stepped into this space, it was still evolving—an in-progress studio. Tattooing, barbering, creation, communication—every day brought different guests, ideas, expectations, and emotions. Some focus on lines; some immerse in styling. She chose the in-between position—connecting clients, time, and space. From booking and consultation, to coordinating tattoo and hair flows, to final confirmations before guests leave, she learned the rhythm of every step—and understood that creation needs its protected quiet. Through this accumulation, she not only handled day-to-day operations, but became one of the store leads, supporting space management and overall coordination. She isn’t at the front of the stage, yet she makes both tattooing and hair work smoothly. She doesn’t create directly, yet she allows creators to focus without distraction. To her, administration isn’t simply management—it’s the process of making sure people and creation are properly cared for. Here, before every change begins, she has already prepared everything.
